如何用英国的邮编找到确切的位置？如何用英国的邮编找到确切的位置?

　　最少五个字加一空白，最多七个字加一空白。除此之外，尚有特例“GIR 0AA”(不属于上列六种格式)也是合法邮区编号。

　　最前的一或二个英文字代表邮域(Postal Area)，接下来到空白的一或二个数字及可能有的一个英文字代表邮区(Postal District)，空白后的一个数字代表邮政部门(Postal Sector)，最后的二个英文字代表递送点(Delivery Point)。

组合的可能是XXXX XXX

举个例子,南安浦顿(Southampton)大学某宿舍的邮编为SO16 3UB,其中SO表示Southampton,16表示Southampton的某个地区。而3UB则是具体到这个地区的某条街区。所以，这个地区附近的邮编就可能是SO16 3ZG（事实上这就是隔壁另外一个大学宿舍楼的邮编）

然而这也会有特例，伦敦市内的邮编是以方向的简写开头的。比如大英博物馆位与伦敦市中心西北,所以邮编为WC1B 3DG。而在大伦敦内，还有类似N8和WE11这样开头的邮编。

当然，其他城市一般符合之前说的城市或郡缩写开头的方法。不过XXXX XXX的格式只是上限，实际上有不少邮编是短于这个（比如N8 0BH）但肯定是字母和数字的组合

而S10 和 3DG通上可的这是一个具体的地址。S10 3DG is a UK post code (same as a zipcode). S is the prefix for Sheffield area (Bristol is BS). 10 is a region within Sheffield. 3 is an area within the S10 region. DG is a identifier for a postal address or group of addresses (maybe a large business or group of residential houses)

“S” 是Sheffield 的前缀.

“10”是Sheffield城市的10区,类同于深圳的福田区,不过他们是用数字表示.

“3” 是10区内的一个范围.

“DG”应该是这个公司或者居住者的标示,类同于我们的ID卡是我们身份的标识一样.

就好象坐标一样给这个地方一个定位.
